Justice came to me on Sept. 2, 2001. The week prior, my friend Jamie found an ad for this gelding, and seeing who his sire was she contacted me right away. Justice is Mirage's 1/2 paternal brother, meaning he is also a SA Hudson Bey kid. So, I thought what would it hurt to at least inquire about him. I found out some information from his owner then contacted my friend Kelly who owns Hudson. Her and I decided to go take a look. So on Sept. 2nd I set out to Manitowoc and then from there Kelly, her friend, and I took the truck and trailer WAY up north to see this Hudson kid.

When we finally arrived the thing that caught my eye first about Justice was he looked SO much like my other Hudson baby, Mirage. I caught him and in a moment he stole my heart. Then, we saw this little guy move and I was done for. So, Justice came on home with us.

When we finally arrived the thing that caught my eye first about Justice was he looked SO much like my other Hudson baby, Mirage. Justice came on home with us. That night I stayed at Kelly's. She said something to me like: you need to do this guy justice. So, with that his barn name became Justice. His grandsire is also The Chief Justice, so those are the 2 ways he got that name.

Justice has a great future ahead of him. He is very fluid moving and looks like he will be an awesome Dressage or Hunter Pleasure horse someday. Justice has also had 2 months professional halter training with my much trusted trainer, Jessica Cole. I did show him lightly in 1/2 arabian halter, and he was the 2002 WAHA futurity winner. Justice's heart really isn't in the halter ring though, he will be a much better riding horse someday.

This guy has the funniest personality. I am blessed to have had him in my life, but sadly had to offer him for sale. At the August futurity show, I was happy to see my sister in law's friend Leslie. I think it was a match that was meant to be. She came to look at Justice again at home and decided he was what she was looking for in her next dressage horse!

I am thrilled to have found him such a wonderful home! Congratulations Leslie on acquiring such an awesome horse, and congratulations Justice on picking such a great person! I know my promise to do him justice will be fulfilled. He is in the right hands for what he is made to be. Justice came to me for a reason. And now I know what that the reason was, to find Leslie.
